Answer
Qin Shi Huang was an extremely significant person in ancient China, as he was the first emperor of ancient China. Qin Shi Huang took the throne of the Qin state when he was 13 years old.
The first state to fall to Qin was Han in 230 B.C.E. Qin Shi Huang then conquered Zhao, by taking advantage of natural disasters in 229 B.C.E. The next state to fall to Qin was the northern state of Yan in 226 B.C.E. Qin Shi Huang then quickly conquered the small state of Wei in 225 B.C.E. Qin then faced his greatest challenge and succeeded in conquering the largest state, Chu. In 222 B.C.E the last remnants of Yan fell to Qin. The young king of Qi was terrified of Qin and sent 200 000 troops to defend his western borders. Qin Shi Huang invaded the north of Qi an captured the young king, becoming the first emperor of China.

Qin Shi Huang also greatly impacted China by creating a whole new dynasty and connecting existing walls to build the Great Wall of China. Qin Shi Huang united China, created a new dynasty and built the great wall of China, which greatly impacted ancient China.
